Strong Kids+ Strong Kids+

Strong Kids+ Annual Support Campaign

Your contribution has an immediate and direct impact on those in our community who need the Y most

Our Y counts on the generosity of donors like you to raise funds for our financial assistance program so that every qualified individual or family in need has access to vital Y programs and services
This annual campaign also ensures that various programs for youth, teens, seniors, and for those with special needs or health conditions are subsidized to ensure they are available for all.

How Your Gift Changes Lives

Financial assistance is available for YMCA programs and memberships for those with a bona fide financial hardship who live or work in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside, or Westfield, NJ. With your help, a child in need can attend child care programs and participate in life-saving swim lessons. A senior can remain active and socially connected. A family can access critical health and wellness resources they otherwise couldn’t afford.

Support for individuals with special and adaptive needs means children can receive necessary in-camp support to enjoy inclusive summer camp and learn in swim lessons. Young adults benefit from our Adapt-Ability physical, recreational and social programs.

Teen programs support middle and high school students so they develop confidence, teamwork, and responsibility through programs like Achievers, Model UN, Youth & Government and Leaders Club.

Classes for Special Health Populations meet the specific wellness needs of those conditions such as Parkinson's disease, stroke recovery, arthritis, and osteoporosis in supportive community environments.

Seniors participate in physical and mental wellness activities that reduce isolation and promote health and well-being.
