About Our Y

At the Westfield Area YMCA, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on developing the potential of kids, improving individual health and well-being, and giving back and supporting our neighbors, being a part of the Y will bring about meaningful change not just within yourself  but in your community.  Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, ability, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

  • 5th Grade Dance Party

    October 18, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
    Bauer Branch

    Hang out with friends or mix with new ones! Our DJ team will spin great music, run games, and have plenty of giveaways. A 5th Grade Event Form with parent signature required (one form is valid for school year). Location: Bauer Branch Fee: $8 in advance (by 3:30PM) or $10 at door. Drinks/snacks available, $1 each.

  • Lunchtime Lecture: Check, Change, Control Cholesterol

    October 30, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

    Free and open to the community. The “Check, Change, Control Cholesterol” initiative developed by the American Heart Association (AHA) includes 7 simple steps that every person can adopt for healthy living. The Atlantic Medical Group has partnered with the AHA in developing tools and resources to better educate, engage and influence patients to better manage their cholesterol and lipids and their overall cardiovascular risk. Presenter is Dr. Robert D. Fishberg, a longtime Westfield resident who works as a clinical cardiologist with Associates in Cardiovascular Disease and Atlantic Medical Group. Register by 10/29.
