About Our Y
At the Westfield Area YMCA, strengthening community is our cause.
At the Y, we focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving our community’s health and well-being and giving back to our neighbors. Everyone is welcome at the Y, regardless of age, ability, income or background. We are dedicated to providing programs and memberships that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all and have been proudly serving the communities of Westfield, Cranford, Garwood and Mountainside since 1923.

We are living through difficult times and we are here for each other. Make sure to exercise! A wide variety of stay-at-home wellness activities are available here. Try to eat right and get enough sleep. And if you’re feeling anxious, the resources at Here2Helpnj.org are available.
We are proud to be partnering with the Westfield Food Pantry to help those in need. The vestibule of our Main Y Facility will be open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm for you to drop off non-perishable items. Especially needed: cans of soup and one-can meals, crackers, peanut butter and jelly, and personal care products such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo.
We miss our members and hope to see you again soon! Check our Facebook page westfieldareay for some smiles.
