About the Westfield Area YMCA

The Westfield Area YMCA has met the changing needs of our community for over 100 years. We focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving our community’s health and well-being and giving back to our neighbors. We deliver high-quality programs and services, foster meaningful connections, and help transform lives.

The Y is dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion, and our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility guide everything we do. Everyone is welcome at the Y, regardless of age, ability, income, or background. Financial assistance is available for YMCA programs and memberships to individuals and families with a bona fide financial hardship that live or work in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood or Mountainside, NJ.
