Westfield Area Y Men's Club Christmas Tree Sale Opens Soon

Seeking Volunteers for Tree Delivery and Lot Operations
Westfield Area Y Mens Club Xmas Tree Sale
November 20, 2025

Since 1947, the Westfield Area Y Men's Club has hosted its annual Christmas Tree Sale at the Elm Street Athletic Field in Westfield. This year's opening day is Friday, November 28 from 9:00am-6:00pm. The sale is run by club members from surrounding towns, along with youth volunteers and local organizations. All proceeds benefit area charities and nonprofit organizations, including the Westfield Area YMCA.

Volunteer help is needed! Freshly cut Balsams and Fraser Firs from Canada and North Carolina will be delivered in two tractor-trailer loads—approximately 1,000 trees, some up to 12 feet tall. Offloading the trees is no small feat, and the club is seeking able-bodied volunteers to assist with opening day beginning at 8:30am. Volunteers are also welcome throughout the season to help run the lot and keep the holiday tradition alive.

The Club is always seeking new members that share our values of respect, responsibility, volunteerism and youth development. It’s a fun organization and a great way to give back to the community during the holiday season. Stop by the lot and talk to any member for more information or visit the Y website at https://www.westfieldynj.org/westfield-area-y-mens-club or on Facebook at “Westfield Area Y’s Men’s Club Christmas Tree Sale.”

The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
