Westfield Area YMCA to Host 21st Annual Golf Classic at Echo Lake Country Club

The Westfield Area YMCA is excited to announce its 21st Annual Golf Classic, to take place on Monday, June 8 at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield. The event includes a day of golf, connection, and charitable giving to provide financial assistance for YMCA programs and memberships.

The day includes a cookout lunch, beverages and snacks on the course, a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, and a buffet dinner. The evening will also feature both a live and silent auction.

Registration is now open for foursomes and individual golfers. A wide variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available. All sponsors will be listed in digital and printed promotional materials, on event signage, and in the Westfield Area YMCA Annual Report. Sponsorships are 100% tax-deductible and must be submitted by May 22 to ensure course signage. Online registration and sponsorships submissions are preferred.

Proceeds from the Golf Classic directly support the Westfield Area YMCA Strong Kids+ Annual Support Campaign, which provides financial assistance for those with a bona fide financial hardship that live or work in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside, or Westfield.

The majority of financial assistance awards enable children to attend the Y's early learning, school-age, and summer camp programs. Additionally, awards enable families and seniors to benefit from Y wellness opportunities like aquatics, sports, and fitness classes. Youth, teen, senior and special needs programs are subsidized to ensure they are available for all.
