Lendy Lopez

Assistant Human Resources Director

Lendy joined the Westfield Area YMCA in October 2025. In her role, she supports recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and overall HR operations across the Association. She is passionate about creating a positive, supportive workplace where every staff member feels valued and set up for success. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Health Promotion from Monmouth University, and is currently pursuing her MBA in Human Resource Management at William Paterson University, and will be graduating in May 2026.

Before joining the Y, Lendy worked as a Human Resources Recruiter at Families and Community Together (FACT), a non-profit, care management organization where she led full-cycle recruitment and helped strengthen staff engagement an community initiatives.

She is excited to continue growing within the YMCA community and to support our mission by helping our teams thrive.
