Volunteers helping move trees for the Y Men's Christmas Tree Sale
November 28, 2025

The Westfield Area Y Men's Club annual Christmas Tree Sale is officially open at the Elm Street Athletic Field in Westfield! Since 1947, the tradition has brought holiday cheer across the community while raising funds for local charities and non-profit organizations like the Westfield Area YMCA.

Hours of operation are:

  • Monday-Friday: 5:00-9:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am-6:00pm

The sale will run through December 21 or until trees are sold out. Freshly cut Balsams and Fraser Firs are delivered from Canada and North Carolina, with sizes ranging up to 12 feet tall.

Volunteer help is needed! Freshly cut Balsams and Fraser Firs from Canada and North Carolina will be delivered in two tractor-trailer loads—approximately 1,000 trees, some up to 12 feet tall. Offloading the trees is no small feat, and the club is seeking able-bodied volunteers to assist with opening day beginning at 8:30am. Volunteers are also welcome throughout the season to help run the lot and keep the holiday tradition alive.

The Club is always seeking new members that share our values of respect, responsibility, volunteerism and youth development. It’s a fun organization and a great way to give back to the community during the holiday season. Stop by the lot and talk to any member for more information or visit the Y website at https://www.westfieldynj.org/westfield-area-y-mens-club or on Facebook at “Westfield Area Y’s Men’s Club Christmas Tree Sale.”

The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Visit www.westfieldynj.org to learn more about Westfield Area YMCA and Cranford YMCA programs. Financial assistance is available for YMCA memberships and programs to those who qualify.
