I have been with the Westfield Area Y since 2005. In addition to personal training I teach pilates, yoga, and TRX – all of these classes emphasize core strengthening exercises that improve flexibility and balance. I enjoy cross training and have participated in triathlons, cycling, and running events throughout New Jersey and New York. I also have select focus on senior exercise and am certified in Parkinson’s disease exercise. I work one-on-one with special populations as well, and am part of the Dragon Fly program at the Westfield Area Y. My ultimate objective is to help clients incorporate physical fitness into their everyday lifestyle through education, encouraging independence, and providing continual positive reinforcement. I reside in Cranford with my husband and our two children.
