Jean started at the Y in 2000 but has been teaching group fitness since 1983. She manages all land group exercise classes … and she still loves teaching!
Jean holds several national fitness certifications and teaches an array of wellness classes including Pilates, Strength and Delay the Disease, an exercise class for those who have Parkinson’s. She is a certified trainer and Y-USA Faculty in Group Exercise and Pilates. She is also responsible for organizing and implementing social, recreational, and physical programs for active adults.
Being active and motivating Y members in group fitness classes is one of Jean’s favorite parts of working at the Y. In her spare time, she visits, plays with and spoils her 3 grandchildren.
