Welcome to Camp

This is an active camp that allows children to  explore the wilderness that is around them. Pack your sunscreen and bug spray, we love the sunshine and fresh air that the Watchung Reservation has to offer! We experience the great outdoors through hikes, compass activities, fishing, animal watching, and just playing in the dirt. Other activities include traditional sports, team building games, creative art projects, and STEAM projects. Use of the Loop Playground and Trailside Museum are incorporated in the weekly schedule. Daily recreational swim is at the Main Y. Grey skies and rain never ruin Blue Sky, we simply bring the fun to an indoor space! Each week features an exciting special event.

What to Bring

Backpack, Lunch in an Insulated Lunch Bag, Healthy Snack, Water Bottles, Sunscreen, Insect Repellent, Authorization for Use of Sunscreen/ Insect Repellent, Bathing Suit/Towel/Goggles, Bag to Put Wet Bathing Suit in After Swim

9:45-10:30 am Social/Emotional Activity

11:15-12:00 pm Wrap Up Activity, Wash Hands, Lunch

12:00-1:00 pm Trailside Museum/Educational Activity  

1:00-1:30 pm Physical Activity  

1:30-1:45 pm Bathroom Trip, Pack Up, Meet Back at Camp    

1:50 pm Bus Departs to Main Y    

2:15 pm Change for Swim    

2:30-3:15 pm Swim
