TEEN CARDIO ARCADE
The Westfield Area Y is committed to providing pre-teens
and teens with equipment and programs designed to combat
youth obesity and teach youth and teens the benefits of a
healthy, fit lifestyle.
The Arcade at the Robert and Virginia Bauer Family
Branch, 422 East Broad Street features:
SUPER NOVA DDR (Dance, Dance Revolution)
One of the most popular arcade games in history,
participants dance
at their own pace to their favorite music
by watching lights on a monitor and stepping on
corresponding lights on the dance pad.
Game Bike
Pre-teens and teens will love the interactive game bike
equipped with Play Station video games. Compete
against others, race against the computer and more in this
great fitness activity.
Jacobs Ladder
Jacobs Ladder is a treadmill climber designed for peak
strength and endurance conditioning. Kids love it
because it uses both hands and feet and adjusts to match the
participant's speed. The faster you go, the faster it
goes!
Keiser Strength Training Equipment
Keiser safely adds a strength component to your workout.
Air resistance is used instead of weight plates. A
simple push of a button quickly increases/decreases the
level of difficulty. Instruction is quick and easy.
