On Monday, April 11, 2011 at 7:30pm, Dr. Wendy Mogel, Clinical Psychologist, Parenting Expert & Best-Selling Author will be speaking at The Presbyterian Church in Westfield. She will discuss her latest book, The Blessing of a B Minus, which addresses a question she is asked most frequently: how to be an effective parent in a culture that breeds anxiety and entitlement in older children and teens. Dr. Mogel was featured in "The Race to Nowhere," a movie traveling the country, recently presented at Westfield High School and prompting multiple follow-up teacher/administrator and parent discussions. With her “entertaining comic delivery” and “humorous impersonations of teenagers”, Dr. Mogel imparts inspiring and effective parenting advice in a light-hearted presentation.
