Overlook Hospital at the Westfield Area Y
The Westfield Area Y is proud to announce that Overlook
Hospital is now offering screenings and lectures at the Y
twice a week.
We are proud to be partnering with Overlook to bring our
members the best in health education. Screenings and
lectures will take place in the Conference room on the
second floor of the Main Y Facility unless otherwise
indicated. Screenings this summer include:
*Blood Pressure
*Body Mass Index, Body Fat Analysis
*Bone Density for Women
*Cholesterol
**Diabetes
*Hearing

Take advantage of the
Nautilus Fitness Advisor!
This technology offers personalized, digital workout
presentations and tracking for members from a wireless
Kiosk.
Members can:
Monitor their progress and experience personalized
training with every workout;
Be guided automatically through custom-programmed strength
and cardiovascular workouts, with regular feedback on their
progress;
Generate charts on workout performance and progress;
Communicate to our staff using the integrated electronic
mail system;
Schedule appointments;
Answer and ask questions;
Receive encouragement from our staff.

Yoga
The Westfield Area Y is proud to offer an extensive
yoga program. All yoga classes are designed to
increase flexibility and strength, relieve stress,
increase energy and promote health and well-being.
We offer Yoga; Hot Yoga;
Power Yoga, Yoga Buddies and Yoga for Kids and Yoga Baby.

Open Volleyball &
Basketball

MASSAGE

Fitness Express Center
Check out our FITNESS
EXPRESS CENTER on the 2nd floor of the Main
Facility. The Center features 16 pieces of
strength and cardiovascular equipment for adults and
families with children as young as 7 (size
restrictions apply). This
room gives members the option of an effective
and efficient circuit workout in 30 minutes.
Center time is available for families, seniors,
adults, personal training and more. The Center
is also used as a weekly fitness component of
our after school child care and summer camp
programs.

Personal Training
Work out one-on-one with a certified personal
trainer to meet your fitness goals. Sports
specific conditioning is available in or out of
season. We also offer several fitness
incentive programs:
