TRX® Suspension Training

WHAT IS TRX?
TRX® Suspension Training develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability all at once!  In a TRX Suspension Training Group Class, a certified TRX® instructor will guide you through a series of exercises that will use your body weight and gravity to achieve your fitness goals—guaranteed to challenge every level of exerciser!

WHAT ARE THE CLASSES?
TRX BEGINNER: FREE for members! For beginners only! This class is an introduction to TRX Suspension Training workouts. Class offered once a month.
TRX BODY BLAST/CIRCUT (BEGINNER/ADVANCED: Body blast is a guided strength workout. Circuit includes cardio bursts interspersed with strength segments. Additional equipment may include free weights, Bosu trainers or medicine balls.
TRX BOOTCAMP (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED): Intense class utilizing additional equipment such as battle ropes, jump ropes, steps, Bosu trainers and/or weights. Must be experienced with TRX workout.
SPIN & TRX STRENGTH (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED): Advanced cardio and strength workout. Must be experienced with spin bikes and TRX workout.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?
Register for a TRX class card
8 and 16 class cards must be used within 10 weeks of purchase, Unlimited: 12 weeks from date of purchase

Put your name in the TRX sign up book located at the Welcome Center for the classes you want to attend. Classes are limited to 12, so sign up early! Please allow at least 24 hours in advance of the class you want to attend. Classes must have at least 4 people registered to run. The Westfield Area Y reserves the right to cancel classes that do not have at least 4 people registered 24 hours in advance of the class time.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE THE CLASS?
Contact Lynne at 908-233-2700 x239, or lapplebaum@westfieldynj.org OR call the Welcome Center 24 hours in advance and we will take your name off the class roster for that day. If you do not call, you will be charged for the class. Emergencies will be give special consideration.
