NAEYC Accreditation

You have chosen an early childhood program that is accredited by the National Association for the Education Young Children.

NAEYC has developed standards which define and recognize quality childcare programs. To become accredited, a childcare program must go through a process of self-study involving children, parents and teachers. A variety of criteria relating to providing a developmentally appropriate program must be met, including well-qualified and trained staff, and strict health and safety standards. Also, the program must provide a wealth of opportunities for parent involvement.
