Shannon was first hired in 2001 as a part time lifeguard and swim instructor. Throughout college she worked for the West Warwick Family YMCA in Rhode Island, and the Towson Family YMCA in Maryland. After graduating in 2006 from Towson University with a B.S. in Mass Communication she became the Aquatics Coordinator for the Westfield Area Y. She then went on to become the Teen & Camp Coordinator in 2007.  Shannon was promoted as the Assistant Director for Youth, Teens, & Camp in Sept. 2008 and in September 2009 she took on the additional role of Assistant Marketing Director. She resides in Westfield and enjoys cooking, swimming, & skiing in her spare time.
